About
I am a professional cellist and educator who created Cellopedia, an online educational platform for cellists. After graduating from the Moscow Conservatory (Russia), Peabody Institute of Johns Hopkins University (USA) and 20+ years of performing professionally worldwide, I focused on teaching cello through digital media. My dedication to cello education extends to online courses on platforms like Udemy and Skillshare, where I share my extensive teaching experience.
I launched Cellopedia's YouTube channel in 2016, featuring comprehensive cello tutorials, technique demonstrations, and repertoire analysis. The channel has grown significantly, offering content for players of all levels - from beginners to advanced students. My videos cover fundamental techniques, master classes, and detailed breakdowns of standard cello repertoire.
What distinguishes my approach at Cellopedia is its systematic teaching of cello technique, combining traditional Russian school methods with modern teaching practices. Through webinars, video lessons, and online courses, I have built an international community of cello students. My teaching emphasizes proper posture, fundamental technique, and musical interpretation while making classical cello education accessible to a global audience.
